BPS Services for Young Adults

As adolescents transition into young adulthood, they are expected to make a number of difficult life decisions, while at the same time experiencing a reduction in their contact with supportive adults (parents, teachers, etc.). Due to the amount of stressors that exist during this developmental phase, it is not surprising that serious mental health issues often first emerge or dramatically increase during this time. Having the ongoing support and guidance of a trained licensed professional during this life stage can be invaluable. To increase the likelihood of a good fit, BPS offers a Therapist Finder to ensure a great match.

Harmony Barrett Isaacs, LPC

Harmony Barrett Isaacs, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

My work with teenagers and young adults includes drug and alcohol abuse and addiction, social anxiety and shyness, general anxiety and panic attacks, depression, grief and loss issues, trauma, school issues, and complex family issues. While all of these can be horrific for the individual and families involved, the underlying resiliency present in each of these young people and families is the foundation that we build from in the healing process. The core value and the innate goodness of each person can be nurtured and strengthened to work through the most difficult of situations.

Andre Karkamaz, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Do you have a lingering sense of emptiness? A feeling that something is missing, but not sure where to start? Are you stuck in the past, anxious about the future, and unable to enjoy the present? Like you, I have been there. I know how hopeless it can feel. Understanding struggles with relationships and connection is the main focus of my work, and I help individuals like you start to feel more secure in relation to others and yourself. We all have an individual blueprint of attachment, where we might feel a sense of constant anxiety within our relationships, or maybe feel a need to withdraw or detach. Together we will overcome old patterns, acquire new skills and challenge self-limiting beliefs.
