BPS Services for Families

While some family systems are more dysfunctional than others, all families face tremendous challenges, depending on the unique strengths and difficulties that each family member brings. In addition, the interactive challenges between family members can further stir the pot. While no family is perfect, there are many therapeutic advances in successfully treating families that can dramatically reduce conflict along with deepening the bonds between family members. Choosing the right family counselor, however, is critical. To increase the likelihood of a good fit, BPS also offers a referral assessment with a BPS therapist, trained by Director Dr. Jan Hittelman, as well as our free online therapist directory.

BPS Providers That Work with Families

Harmony Barrett Isaacs, LPC

Harmony Barrett Isaacs, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

My work with teenagers and young adults includes drug and alcohol abuse and addiction, social anxiety and shyness, general anxiety and panic attacks, depression, grief and loss issues, trauma, school issues, and complex family issues. While all of these can be horrific for the individual and families involved, the underlying resiliency present in each of these young people and families is the foundation that we build from in the healing process. The core value and the innate goodness of each person can be nurtured and strengthened to work through the most difficult of situations.
