Using a holistic and eclectic approach to therapy, Jen enjoys helping people identify and align with their own inate potential to bring about transformation and empowerment in their lives. Through her own personal experiences and work as a therapist, she believes that challenges in life are opportunities to cultivate self-awareness, meaning, and purpose that can inspire motivation, movement, and change in their lives. Ultimately, Jen believes that inherent within us all, is the strength and desire to reconnect to our authentic self and actualize our true potential to achieve our goals.
Jen has extensive training and practice in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, and trauma informed care, including Seeking Safety. She focuses on developing healthy coping skills and new ways to manage stress and engage in relationships. She has a natural family systems approach and believes that through understanding one’s family of origin, a better understanding of oneself can be used in the process of personal growth and developing insight into individual belief systems and behavior.
