My therapy practice is informed from a depth perspective and in an attachment-focused framework.  I integrate practical skills, somatic work and soul inquiry to help with integration of one’s whole self. My work joins the forces of the functional with the creative in order to arrive at a new and more workable understanding of self and relationships.

Since graduating from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2015, I have been cultivating my therapeutic practices in and out of agencies. I have worked in a transitional program for young adults, AIM House, going on 6 years. The program is structured to help guide young people on garnering enough ego strength to forge a path of independence, while also staying connected and building community. I also worked with their families in assisting with the individuation process through parent coaching and extensive family systems work through an attachment-focused lens. I gained a great deal of wisdom in working with addictions at this program as well and learned creative ways to help the soul find its path again through Jungian informed practices and somatic work.

I have been in private practice for going on 7 years. My practice encompasses work with individuals, couples and families and has included a variety of age ranges. In meeting with such an array of unique individuals and tailoring to what they need along the way, I have deepened greatly into various aspects of psychology. Over the past 2 years, I have been integrating Sensorimotor Psychotherapy into my practice. I have found this somatic-centered and mindfulness practice to be powerful in my work with trauma and attachment injury. By addressing the physical, as well as the psychological effects of adverse experience on mind and body, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy supports a deep, effective, and unified approach to healing.

I am passionate about and have deep respect for the therapeutic process. I truly believe it takes great courage to enter into the depths of ourselves and appreciate the opportunity to be a witness and learn along the way. Carl Jung sums it up well, “the meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances; if there is any reaction, both are transformed”. Creating connection through authentic relationship and approaching others with deep respect and curiosity is at the heart of all the work I do.
